About Seed & Womb Doulas
Honoring the postpartum period as a sacred window, we are here to guide women through their own birth and rebirth with reverence, cultural wisdom, and holistic care.
Rooted in Latin American ancestral traditions and India's ancient science of Ayurveda, we honor pregnancy, birth, and postpartum as powerful portals of transformation. We support women in returning to their bodies and reconnecting with their wombs so they can integrate into motherhood, meeting the new versions of themselves with strength, clarity and love.
What is Holistic Postpartum Care?
Compassionate in-home support, ensuring new mothers receive the nourishment they need
to embark on the best possible start into motherhood.
In many cultures, the first 42 days after birth are known as a sacred time for immense change to occur - setting the blueprint for the next 40 years
Traditional, holistic postpartum care brings nurturance, love, rejuvenation, and restoration
through proper foods, gentle nervous-system regulating bodywork, and ancient ritual.
3 pillars of nourishing your postpartum
1
Nutrition
Sustaining the Mother
Food is medicine. Inspired by Ayurveda and ancient postpartum traditions, our in-home cooked meals focus on warm, grounding, easy to digest foods that help rebuild strength, support milk production, restore nutrients, and encouraging healing from the inside out.
2
Self Love
Mothering the Mother
A woman deserves to feel held, seen, and connected to herself as she enters a new identity. We create an intentional space for rest, body connection, expression, and receiving care through the rituals of abhyanga (warm oil application), yoni (pelvic) steaming, belly binding, and ceremony.
3
Newborn Care
Supporting the Mother
Newborn care is rooted in connection and intuition rather than perfection. We support parents in bonding with their babies and getting their needs met. We help parents understanding their baby’s unique language, creating a rhythm around feeding, sleeping, and caring for your newborn confidently.
